Mr. Vikas Gupta is the Founding Member and Head Litigation Partner at Pathways Legal Consultants. He earned his Honors degree from Sri Ram College of Commerce and his Law degree from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University. With over 30 years of experience in the criminal and corporate field, Mr. Gupta has developed expertise in court proceedings and comprehensive understanding of both legal principles and factual intricacies.
Having exceptional oratory skills, Mr. Gupta captivates judges and sways court proceedings with persuasive arguments and compelling presentation. Mr. Gupta has provided legal counsel to both individual and corporate clients in various High Courts across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Punjab & Haryana, Rajasthan, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, and Kerala. Mr. Gupta’s core practice area includes cases related to White Collar Crimes, Commercial Transactions, Narcotics, Extradition, Preventive Detention, Police Misconduct, Money Laundering, Bodily Crimes and Crimes against women, Real Estate, Consumer Protection.
He possesses extensive expertise in cases involving offences by para-banking companies, which have raised substantial sums from unsuspecting investors in violation of the Companies Act, SEBI Act, and Banking Regulation Act. Mr. Gupta has also handled cases related to insider trading and stock price manipulation. Currently, Mr. Gupta is also handling cases in Gauhati High Court pertaining to autonomous council scams in the Assam.
